The Golden Boy

A video work that traces the surreal rise and fall of a symbolic figure embodying artistic ambition and vanity through an audio narration fairytale setting. Born from pseudointellectuals, this prophet-like character embarks on a mythic journey through a dreamlike art gallery, encountering riddles, chases, and ultimately his own sacrifice. Blending satire and spirituality, the video reflects on the tension between creation, ego, and audience expectation. Drawing on myth, religion, and cinema, it combines 3D animation with traditional film techniques to create a fragmented, poetic meditation on the pursuit of greatness. This work was produced for an exhibition at Galerie Alte Schule Adlershof in Berlin and features a 3D model of the gallery as a setting of the video.
