Kristen Rästas is an interdisciplinary Estonian artist based in Berlin, working primarily with painting and video/VR. His practice spans installation and moves fluidly between digital and physical media. Drawing on landscape motifs and shifting visual languages, he constructs speculative environments that blur the boundaries between the natural and the artificial. These immersive situations reflect states of alienation, escape, and detachment, inviting viewers into spaces where perception becomes unstable. Rästas' work explores the fragility of existence and the porous boundaries between inner experience, environment, and mediated reality.
