About

post-gallery.online

2020–2024, web-based gallery project

post-gallery.online was an independent digital exhibition platform where the website itself functioned as the gallery space. Each project was conceived specifically for the web and designed as a self-contained environment, allowing the artists' works to be experienced without the need for a physical venue. The platform emphasized tailored, site-specific curation that responded to the possibilities of the internet as a medium rather than treating it as a secondary display tool. By removing external context and focusing on cohesive presentation, it created immersive online experiences that foregrounded the artwork’s digital presence. Founded and curated by Kelli Gedvil and Kristen Rästas, later joined by Ian-Simon Märjama, it explored new models of exhibiting contemporary art with an emphasis on experimentation and distribution beyond geographic limits.
